The UEFA Futsal Cup: The main round. Third day results + VIDEO

On Thursday, October 11, on the European futsal stages was hot again – as the previous day, 14 matches were played in seven groups. And with this review, we continue to follow the performances of futsal teams, which play in the main round of the UEFA Cup.

Path A

The champion of Belarus with brilliance solved the problem of entering the elite round. In his second match in Group 1, “Stalitsa” after the first half secured an advantage in two goals, and after a break did not allow the formidable “Pescara” to neutralize it. After Taras Korolyshyn’s brace in the end of the match, the game has ended at 6: 3.

On the final day, “Kairat” and “Stalitsa” will fight for the first place, which is prestigious but not essential. Not to return home with shame, “Pescara” is obliged to beat the Moscow-based “Dynamo”.

“Dina” showed a very worth play against much stronger “Movistar Inter”, but still lost. Nevertheless, after the second match of the day in Group 2, “Braga” beat “Brezje”, and all three teams that qualified for the elite round, were determined ahead of schedule. Theoretically, the hosts of the group can catch up with either “Dina” or “Braga”, but Slovenes lost both teams in face-to-face meetings.

Very difficult was the opponent of the Czech “ERA-PAK” in the second match in Group 4 – vice-champion of Spain “Barcelona Lassa”. Most of the time, the champion of the Czech Republic had to restrain the attacks of the Catalans, which can be seen in statistics of the match – ERA-PAK’s gate was attacked 49 times. With two of them, the Ukrainian goalkeeper Litvinenko who protects the gate of Czech team could not cope, and as a result, “ERA-PAK” lost 0: 2.

The further fate of “ERA-PAK” will be decided on Saturday in a match with the Hungarian champion “Raba ETO”, in which Felipe Conde’s team can be satisfied with a draw.
