AFF Futsal Cup 2019 kicks off today, Tuesday, June 18

AFF Futsal Cup 2019 previously known as the AFF Futsal Club Championship starts today in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. This is the sixth edition of the tournament organised by the Asian Football Federation and it will be held until June 23.

6 clubs will compete in the AFF Futsal Cup 2019, divided into 2 Groups of three teams. The top 2 teams in each group will qualify for the semifinals.

Group A consists of 3 runners-up of Southeast Asia’s top leagues. Thailand as the host will be represented this year by the strong team Chonburi Bluewave. Sanatech Khanh Hoa, one of the top Futsal club in Vietnam, will represent their homeland. Indonesia will be represented by Black Steel Manokwari, who became the runners-up at the 2019 Pro Futsal League (PFL). It is the second time Black Steel will be representing Indonesia at the AFF Futsal Club after making their debut in 2016 where they finished fourth. Here is the full list of teams available to play in AFF Futsal Cup 2019:

Group A: Chonburi (Thailand), Sanatech Khanh Hoa (Vietnam), Black Steel Manokwari (Indonesia).

Group B: Myanmar Imperial Uni. (Myanmar), Down Town Sport (Cambodia), Melaka United (Malaysia).
